You have just started working as an online freelance writer in Kenya and you find it hectic to make references from scratch. I have been there.
In this post I will share some of the online citation generators that you can use, either as a Kenyan student mastering their studies or as a writer for sample academic papers.
Just be sure to double check the final citation for mistakes. When I have used these resources, I have found myself correcting some of the elements.
Citation Machine
This online citation generator creates citations in thousands of styles, including MLA, APA, and Turabian.
EasyBib
It also has other resources such as note-taking and research resources.
Citefast
Cites in the latest editions of the Chicago, APA, and MLA styles.
Class Tools
You can choose what you are citing: books, websites, films, etc. You will then decide which formatting style to use.
Harvard Referencing Generator
This one generates Harvard-style references.
KnightCite
Covers MLA, APA, or Chicago style.
MyBib
Free bibliography and citation generator available in the G Suite Marketplace.
With this list online citation generators, you can choose one tool to stick with or try all of them and settle on one that works for you best. I stopped using these tools. What I do is go to Google scholar, copy their references and edit them because they also have errors and inconsistencies. Besides, their MLA citation has not been updated for years.
